This team looks so different without Pesce man. You don't realize how much he means to the team until he's gone. Gotta figure this out without him asap or else we'll be in a free fall flying down the standings.
What an absolute garbage game… so much puck watching, no back checking, sloppy passing, losing every single board battle, losing every single neutral zone battle, no many sticks not on the ice (fucking Palat dude your stick should be on the ice not lazily at hip level)…
Our top line doesn't drive offense – our PP is non-existent (yea they scored one this game but overall still trash) – bottom 6 actively being walked for 4 goals is crazy – tonight's game was easily the worst game in my life time (been a fan for 45 years fyi)

What are Nico, Bratt, Meier, Mercer, Gritsyuk, etc.? All of those guys could be (or were) star players on their own teams outside the Devils. WHERE ARE THEY?! Why does this team fold without Jack EVERY YEAR? This team should have the talent to weather this and that talent has been wildly inconsistent in doing so.
And that 3 min stretch from hell in the 4st: FOUR GOALS AGAINST. That was one of the WORST defensive and goaltending efforts I've EVER seen and I have been watching the Devils and hockey in general for the past 20 years! FOUR GOALS IN ABOUT 3 MINS. 3 GOALS IN 26 SECONDS. TO THE *FLYERS*?!?!?! WHAT A JOKE. I understand they miss Pesce, but if you're imploding that hard against a bad team like the Flyers (on paper at least)…….then what are you even doing?!
And Keefe: he's pissed now but what adjustments does he make in game when things like this happen? It felt like last season every time we went down 2-0 the game was basically over and the team surrendered. Not every game, but FAR too often.
This team needs changes, fast, or reinforcements. If Fitz sits on his hands, he's going to sink another season. They probably still make the playoffs but this team is not doing anything other than being bounced in round 1 by Carolina again unless changes are made.

I think definitely the 3 goals in 26 seconds, were brutal and the team could not come back. I m not angry, not disappointed, actually, I m really worried and sad.
