Chances are that if they brought Hage in their lineup right now he'd do better than O'Reilly straight away.
What a fing HORRIBLE trade that would be (Hage or Reinbacher or Fowler plus a 1st) for an old, slow, low producing (barely ) 2nd line center at this point.

He is on the record stating he is not interested playing in a big hockey market with all the scrutiny it comes with. If that's the case that certainly leaves Montreal out.
Hage won’t be traded. Definitely not for a 34 year old

nashville asking too much for the 34 years old center a 1st choice maby but no more. unless Nashville takes 1/2 the salary but they cannot they already have 2 of those options seems?
34 years old. Very risky.
I'm honestly surprised we didn't get a left-handed centerman during the summer, could have been a 3c or 4c just for faceoffs. It's really hurt us, and you have Evans taking face-offs on the right wing (remember that Ovechkin faceoff one timer?). Losing Dvo hurt in that regard, but overpaying for O'Reilly will hurt even more.
