Penguins Goalies: Tristan Jarry Returns, Sam Poulin Sent Down

The Pittsburgh Penguins are making some roster moves ahead of their game against the Buffalo Sabres. Tristan Jarry, the starting goalie, is back from injury and will be joined by Ville Koivunen. Coach Dan Muse has confirmed that Arturs Silovs will be Jarry’s backup.
To make room for these activations, the Penguins have reassigned Sam Poulin to their AHL affiliate, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Poulin’s short stint with the NHL club didn’t require waivers for his reassignment. Another move involves goalie Sergei Murashov, who is likely to be sent back to WBS as well.
Jarry, with a .911 save percentage before his injury, is a key player for the Penguins. Bryan Rust, who missed practice, will also be available for the game. Get the latest updates on the Penguins’ roster and their upcoming match!
