Three team trade between Vancouver, Montreal and New Jersey. Get a first from both teams we get Reinbacher maybe Dach. Hischier goes to Montreal and we get Nemec.
I believe the flyers are the frontrunner for him, i may be a bit biased, but him landing on the devils wouldn't make too much sense. They just handed luke a 9mil aaav contract, and moving him down to the 2ndd line would not make sense, the flyers have the assets to trade for him, let me know what you think on this
He has family in Michigan. If he’s going anywhere other than NJ it’s Detroit. If we could ensure that he would re sign with Detroit I would give up ASP, Kasper, ‘26 1st rd pick, + to get him here and not think twice about it.
Been dreaming about how we could have had Quinn Hughes and Mo Seider as a top pairing for years it’s time to make that reality and rectify past mistakes of Ken Holland
Man I'd hate to give up Pelllika
aint know what that voice is coming out of that mouth lol
Seriously…. What would Yzerman be willing to give up to bring Hugh’s to Detroit?? And let’s be realistic, I don’t want to give up 3 young strong talents
Quinn Hughes makes 0 sense in MTL LOL
Philly makes the most sense .close to family .flyers have the capital and reunite with tocchet
Ends: Vancouver starts: Vancouver
Something completely differnt will happen watch.
I'm a Devils fan, I'd suggest they wait until Quinn is a UFA.
Vancouver will never win a cup as long as they retool and not a full rebuild. This team is doomed
And guest what, if the Canucks would have just been patient and kept all their picks and had a full cupboard of players, this wouldn't have happened, I blame ownership, they are to blame, no one else!!!!!!!
Hopefully he makes it publicly known that he wants to come to Detroit and gives yzerman some leverage
Think Philly makes the most sense closest to his brothers has friends like zegras York and Drysdale there already then put him with the head coach he loves makes sense to me
I think a Hughes trade to Philly could be pretty good for us. We could potentially get our future top line:
To van:
Matvei Michkov (RW), Jett Luchanko (C), 2026 1st round pick (currently worth 19th overall)
To Philly:
Quinn Hughes
Is this fair, or does Quinn command more? Would be awesome if we could get a Porter Martone on top of all of those three but I feel like that is pushing it.
And if all the stars align and we draft McKenna, our future top line could be:
McKenna – Luchanko – Michkov
(Or even Stenberg/Belchetz instead of McKenna would still be ridiculously good)
It won't happen. The Wings are in no position to give up assets on a season where they aren't going to win the Stanley Cup. Especially when he will bolt to New Jersey the second his contract is up. And New Jersey isn't going to give up assets when they know they can get him for money after next season. Cups for years over there by just being patient. Also, none of these teams are contenders. Getting better but not in the cup conversation. He will go to a contender… then bolt to New Jersey. At the same time, he may not go anywhere because nobody will give up their future for a rental.
devils, hurricanes, lightening or mammoth will get him
he isn't going to the detroit chicken wings that's for sure 😂
If the devils and Vancouver get it done I think we may be looking at 3-5 teams getting involved to make the numbers work. It would be absolutely bananas
Quinn Hughes will be traded to NJ for a ham sandwich.
Build around Hughes anyone cheering to trade 43 is on 31 other teams
Trade Hughes half the fans will leave with him
Yzerman will be too busy signing another busted deal… no one in the red wings office knows what young talent looks like…. "anyone remember Zadina. neither do i" what a joke.
