In 1970 I was a 10 year old peewee hockey player and I got butt ended in my eye, it tore my eyelid off about 80%, my eyeball was open and obviously I couldn't close my eye, when I saw the referee look and skate away, the look on his face was all I needed to know, I had my eyelid sewn back on while I was still in my equipment, watching the Dr pull the thread up and down because I couldn't close my eye, I played the very next week and my teammates and my father appreciated the balls I had to play so soon.
