Getting the best goalie tandem in the league (and it's not even close) cost the Avs a 2nd, 5th, and 6th round picks, as well as three roster players (Georgiev, Annunen, and Kovalenko), two of which are no longer playing in North America, and the third is now a backup on a bad team that the front office was not confident in his abilities to improve. If a cup is won this season and/or next season, THIS will be the reason why. Losing an expectedly late 2nd rounder and two lottery picks feels like practically free at this point, and that's not considering what may be the outcome once it's all said and done. CMac deserves his dues; it is not firmly on the players to get it done.

MacK is absolutely trending towards generational if he gets a few more seasons like the last 3. Especially if he gets some more individual awards. Though I'm not sure if he cares enough to squeeze out points he might feel are meaningless towards the end of the season if they need them for playoff seeding reasons.
When you have a shootout move named after you, you're generational… when the great one says you're the only player in the history of the game to possess every skill necessary to play the game, you're generational….

On the DWTS thing, I now want to see a season of this with Roy and MacK at the same time. I think that could possibly be the most unhinged experience the professionals could have. With Roy willing to fight everyone and MacK not allowing his professional partner to have any carbs during the season.
I find it hard to include Nate in generational talent discussions because it took 5 seasons for him to take off. I expect the generational players to go nuts for their 2nd season and beyond.
