  1. Punishment for the players but 👀for the fans that show up! Bag em till they drop, coaches!

  2. I never complained, and will never complain about doing these as a player. How can you watch your goalie struggling behind you, being forced through the same drill and think we're the ones suffering?

  3. Unbelievable how some of them still don't skate to the line…. Most likely the guys who also get cut or sit in the press box….

  4. My high school would waste our practice times pushing the nets around the rink thinking it was gonna make us better

  5. Its the Blue – back – red – back- far blue- back – far red – back that used to murder me…

  6. There's something comforting about watching the greatest goal scorer of all time still have to do bag skates.

  7. In my first season of hockey, I was slower than our goalie when he was wearing all his pads. We did this in our first practice and the coach thought I was just not trying. I had to do these until I was on the ice trying not to throw up. That is when he realized that I just sucked at skating😂

  8. I guess I never really considered that, even at a professional level, most athletes have to still do stuff like this. Thinking about it now, I guess it makes sense! Great upload.

  9. Yeah these are not bag skates. True bag skates are full out from line to line. Don't even think of coasting until you're past the goal line. No letting up, no slowing down. Full on.

  10. When I was learning to play hockey as a younger kid this was the EASIEST way for me to learn stopping and how to push off/stride.

  11. I had a high school basketball coach who used to make us run suicides after every practice. We never understood why until the end of the season. He also institute in a full court press that we practice right at the start of the season and we only used it once in a thunder Bay tournament, where our normal competition couldn’t see it. We made it to the final game and before the game he told us guys you’re the smallest team in the league and there’s a reason Iran you hard this year cause I wanted you guys to be in the best shape. He said this game we’re gonna use that full core press right from the start. We ended up beating the team 65 to 44 won the championship. Might’ve been the smartest coach I ever had.
