   I don't think the Flames head office actually cares to win. Winning sets expectations, but doesn't fill already sold out seats. Its almost easier to lose and continue to be rewarded for it.

    The other day I started thinking about the number of playoff series wins the Flames have had since I started following them closely in the mid 90’s and it was very depressing. Ownership needs to get serious about doing what it takes to set the team up for a real chance to win a cup at some point in the next decade.

    I have lived in 6 Canadian provinces and I have to say that the seafood is much better on the east coast than the west coast. The lobsters and scallops are infinitely better on the east coast.

    There is no way that the Calgary Flames would be a much better team had they had overpaid Toffoli, Zadorov, Lindstrom, Hanafin, Tanev, Markstrom, and Magiapane to stay with the team. Calgary would be Capped out and still in the "mushy middle" at best.
