McLellan has been forcing guys into the same role for most of the season now and it's not producing enough wins. He needs to make bigger changes to how these players are deployed.
Wings got screwed badly at the end, though silly mistakes on defense led to goals, especially the one goal. They gotta start converting on all their amazing chances — if that clicks they’ll be tough to stop
Can't expect to win a 60 minute game when only playing 30 minutes of good hockey. However, this game definitely seemed like a final straw for a lot of the players. Losses like these are actually blessings in disguise. If this doesn't push they players to put in 60 minutes, then idk what else would.
Just your 8,000th example of "against the rules except against Red Wings players." My bet is that there isn't even a suspension for it either. What a cruel prank.
