Stop making excuses with injuries. The Florida Panthers are missing 8 guys for 3 to 9 months, they still are above 500 and they are competitive in every game. The players on Toronto are the problem.They are lazy and have no heart.

Our defence needs a big change. The only defenceman I really have liked is Tanev and Larson. The other guys I would get rid of to get better defenceman. Rielly hasent been very good at all. We need a #1 d man on the back end to go with Chris Tanev and if they ever take the C off of Matthews give it to Tanev hes a leader unless Auston starts showing it😂. Willy has been great and Knies and Cowan.

It’s the players, pure and simple. They go out in the ice and fuck around like a junior team playing for fun. Other than Woll, not one of them did anything. These guys are privileged to play NHL, something we will never get to do, and yet they just don’t seem to care. It’s disgraceful. Looking back is ridiculous because history proved those teams didn’t work, so the only way to look is forward. Will getting a full strength lineup help – God only knows. Would changing the coaching team – doubtful. You’d think the ones being brought in to fill spots would be playing their hearts out to show they deserve a full time role, but no. The only ones who can fix this are the players … but do they really want to?

I’ve been watching Toronto for a long time I’ve seen so many coaches come in and out. I’ve seen the press bash the team bash. The coach. Best to management depressed doesn’t help YouTube guys like yourselves. You guys are great. I have no effect how you guys do your YouTube channel you probably one of the top guys that I listen to, but everybody else thinks they know the team thinks they have an input on the team You know it’s the character on the team that doesn’t care. The Mitch Marner thing never worked should’ve been traded a long time ago. I think I will say I coach Hockey myself for a very long time. It never once have I ever criticize anybody, but I will criticize my players if they act like a bunch of babies these are these are adult people And here we are as adults who were paid millions of dollars to sit out of some contract talk and get paid their money cause they deserve to pay. The culture of Hockey is not the same compared to the olden days. There’s no care there’s no urgency. It’s just about the money and you can’t tell me what to do Craig BrewBerry if I said his name right it’s a fantastic coach. They don’t buy into their system because you’re a bunch of babies, who do I blame the front office for pampering these players way too much and decide what they wanna do or how they play you never see that with Colorado Who has 16 Canadians the system there is no system. There’s no care in the world fire and the coaches don’t do anything. It’s the players I have to be accountable. They have to want it and get hungry and play for their teammates and play that they care for the fans who supply and who make their money for them and their who come out to the see these kids and kids are watching it’s the example examples of how we are as individuals and Mitch Maher thing. I’m happy he’s gone now for Toronto. It’s identity. They need to get their identity back to believe that they can win games and be a team because until they figure out who they are as a team and stop complaining about who they are, they won’t win very much games. The culture is getting worse and worse maybe set up that Craig has the running gun system. It’s gotta go. The defence is following the puck like we’re teaching kindergarten kids how to play hockey again there’s no care there’s no will and there’s no commitment at all. You can talk about it. It turns out Marner knew what he was doing after all, when he abandoned this sinking ship. He, Matthews, Nylander and Stolartz were basically the only ones keeping it afloat–and now two of the three left are out of action. The worst part is that, apart from Knies and Cowan, this isn't even a group of younger players who can hope to improve. They've all already hit their ceiling and will decline from here. If Tanev and Tavares weren't over-achieving in defiance of their age, the mess would currently be even worse.

I've been a fan since the mid-1970s, and it appears that they're just mailing it in. Above all, the Leafs need a new identity. I think the Leafs should trade Morgan Rielly. Rebuild, regrettably, and stop giving up early draft picks.
The Leafs organization does not care. It’s been this way for years. It’s a business and that’s how they run it. They do the bare minimum to keep fans. The lEafs have the biggest fan base and sell the most merchandise, so why do they care if they keep losing. Most of the players know this and don’t have the drive they need. Look at Knies, I love this guy but when he came up during the play offs this kid was AMAZING and had drive and passion. He still plays good but does not have that drive or passion like he did. The Team coasts through because they don’t want to get hurt checking the puck carrier and are afraid to stick up for their goalie. They need to make some trades and start over with guys who have drive and passion and want to win the CUP. pull up from the farm team. But the Leafs need to get some Wendell and Dougies out there on the ice. I’ve been a Leafs fan for so many years and the only thing I have is disappointment and a glimmer of hope. So they need to get rid of some of these boys and bring in some fresh legs. Keep Domi, JT and Knies and use these guys to push the new players.
Think the leafs should hold open tryouts. Maybe they can find players with heart and.passion
As a Leafs fan, I'm happy to tank the season and trade everyone specifically Matthews, Nylander, Rielly, Domi, Carlo, Robertson. Keep Tavares who night after night seems to be one of the few Leafs emotionally invested in the game and his team. This is why Stollarz called them out for doing nothing after he was hit. Usually these things iron themselves out (team cohesion) or having a tough, physical game where one of the Leafs is say crosschecked into the boards by Rantanen sparks a bond where they're brothers instead of players getting a paycheck
They land in the bottom 5 this year and get their first, plus someone else's first at the trade deadline.
Just tank this year and hope you get Gavin mackenna your 1st round pick this year is top 5 protected …. trade deadline get rid of reilly mcmann mathews nylander mccabe time to rebuild this group of players just dont got it … trade tavares to Colorado let him win a cup he deserves it f the rest

What map has Craig Berube handed them. Different lines every single game? The guy saying is mentality all the time? players playing roles they don't know how to play? There is no map, not now and not against the panthers last year.
In the bottom 5 this year, the Make be leafs get their first round pick back from Boston and there are some impressive prospects available. Last year, great goaltending and an explosive offense inflated the performance of the team. Their top scorer walked for virtually nothing and goaltending has been ordinary this year. Time to burn it down. Let the young guys get ice time. Nylander, Mathews, Domi and Stolerz need to be moved.
