    Daccord and Rittich were rock solid, though the latter's Islanders claimed the extra point.

    5 points on the the 4-game road trip is acceptable. Next up is a home tilt against the Stars on Wednesday.

    This is the same Islanders team that started the season 0-3. Now 2nd place in division, threatening to take over 1st.

    Even though we lost in the shootout we still got a point out of the game so it's not ALL bad. I thought Joey did fantastic in net & our defense was also really good.

    I cannot complain, no Isles fan can, for this was Trotzian hockey to a TEE. That being said, it would have been a travesty to have lost that second point. If ever a team deserved a game, it was the Isles in this game. Kraken couldn't muster up 20 shots, including OT!

    Too bad I can't watch full games like this, highlights was enough to get the blood pressure up for sure. It can't be very often you get a 0-0 through 3 periods let alone overtime?
