Go get Alex Turcotte for the depth center. Drafted a couple picks before Zegras at #5. Skilled, fast, 2 way playmaker who loves being in front of the net. He is friends w Zegras, York, & Brink. Cheap option with a high upside. Also, grab Brad Lambert.
The team should be actively working w Zegras on faceoffs. A top line of Martone, Zegras, & Michkov would dominate. He wants to be a center, & we need him to be. Teach him to be better.
Coots is a 3rd/4th line C. His contract is horrible. He needs to be traded while he is still being productive. CHI could use him to mentor Bedard & Nazar, & they have the cap space.
Why not try to get Pavel Mintyukov or Kevin Korchinki? Load up on as many top prospects as possible to use for a possible trade for Quinn Hughes.
