The thing with the team in the post season, goaltending has been horrendous the past 2-3 runs. Those teams actually didn't play bad and they were looking good. Now here's the question… What EK do they get for the playoffs? Pretty sure it's been since 2017 when he last saw playoffs.
I would give an honorable mention to Ryan shea and Parker wotherspoon. Those guys have been making the right decisions night in and night out (minus the delay of game from wotherspoon against the ducks) and have held down the defense. Love those guys
God I hope they give Poulin a fair shake. Sullivan single handedly ruined the confidence of so many younger players that have barely had the chance to get any minutes
Random thought but the Penguins are most definitely missing Rickard Rakell right now
A question for you. Chris Johnson released his first trade board for this season and I would be very interested in the #3 player (Alex Tuch) on the board. What do you think it would take to trade for him?and sign him? We have a ton of cap space and even more going forward so we could easily afford him.
Shilov’s rebound control is awful as is his ability stopping shootouts. That being said Shilov has been a lot better than anything Blomqvist has shown yet.
