The fact that it’s happened so much is not “concerning.” At least they’re trying things. Not just riding it out.
they need to push out contracts, and Garland has value. So I guess he is the guy out. i still think reichel was a good pickup, sadly it just did not work out. sometimes you have to bet on potential.
Instead of "recognizing their mistakes" why not just not make them? Sounds to me like a lack of proper scouting and scouts.
Do you think this trade for Hughes is realistic and fair, or do we realistically fetch more:
Vancouver receives: 2026 1st (SEA), 2026 1st (originally Tampa), Shane Wright (C), plus Ryker Evans (LD)
Seattle receives: Quinn Hughes
Shane Wright is a decent 21 yr old C selected 4th overall in 2022. Needs a bit more development in my opinion, but he is very good in face offs
Edit: I would prefer a trade with Boston for their 7th overall pick (TOR) and 11th overall pick (BOS) plus James Hagens, and extra but I am not sure if that’s realistic😂
Calgary game is tomorrow amingo
We rebuilding baby I was right all along finally I eat
Benning players lefted ?
No canucks game today
There is no trade to make to get a 2C, there is just none available. The Canucks with the mandate from ownership to make the playoffs every year they will continue to acquire players that have potential that just haven't realize it yet. Worked with Suter and Sherwood, so they will continue this pattern. What they should be doing is trade Quinn before his value evaporates with time. They won't until the last moment which will be next years deadline if Quinn decides not to sign. They will just get the usual rental return, a first and a prospect for a high caliber player, which is basically nothing for the best player the Canucks have ever had. Quinn's language pretty much says he hasn't made up his mind yet so who knows. My bet is he is gone at next years trade deadline and the team will be in a de facto rebuild.
Yea. I love garland to but I’ve been saying for 2 seasons he’s one of our best trade chips. But what does the fact they just signed him have to do anything? Obviously he has to be under contract to be traded… also your garland for Rossi 1:1 would be good for Vancouver. Unlikely though.
The Canucks play Calgary on Sunday Nov 23?
Not tonight
They can't trade any of their valuable trade chips until they've admitted it's time to rebuild. If that happens, they can't stop at Garland. There hasn't been a proper rebuild in Vancouver it would be kind of exciting if it did happen.
Trade him to the Flyer’s for Jett Luchanko… he’s Tocchet’s guy!
the hockey games are boring while you talk. any chance you can do more face and outings that way its more entertaining for us. your viewers.
Is this fake news? Yes you just made this up.
Oh no back to the video game stuff YUK
Why trade one of your best player's
When will management be held to account.
If they give two points to Calgary team is going no where. Keep Lucas trade Connor Garland to Philly .
