Another problem that’s been going on for years now is that they only show up for one of there goalies. Yeah Talbot has been better than Gibson but they have played like ass in front of Gibby.
Copp stating, " maybe we need to communicate more on the bench." Huh!! I wonder who would be the player to initiate conversations on the bench??? Hmmm🤔 Could it be the player that is the so called "leader" of said players???!! Oh, right that would be the responsibility of THE CAPTAIN!!! And if his interviews with the media are any indication of his "electrifying " personality, well then that would explain a lot!!! STRIP THE "C" !!!!!!

This is the same team for the last 3years. Same shit different day. Steve Y need to do something. He let this team play this way for years. Maybe firing Steve would fix it.
WHY is Copp not centering Cat and Kane? They were a really good offensive 5v5 trio last year.
WHY is Kasper not getting a look back on top line (for the first time all year) to try to rebuild his confidence and make a viable top line that doesn't ruin the 2nd line? Emmitt Finnie is not an NHL player. Stop ruining guy's careers to try to help Emmitt Finnie. He's no one.
This coach is ruining the season, he's ruining the careers of multiple way more important guys (both legends and prospects) to pump up guys who are nothing. Finnie is nothing. Compher is nothing. Get them both as far from the top 6 as possible. Get Finnie out of the lineup altogether in fact. He ain't better than Berggren. He ain't better than Soderblom. MBN was about a hundred times better than Emmitt Finnie.
Marco Kasper was a top 10 pick who last year in the 2nd half played about a hundred times better than Emmitt Finnie will ever play in his life. Not fluke fraudulent stuff either. Really great play.
This coach when Kane was out pulled Kasper off the top power play after ONE GAME. To put awful Emmitt Finnie there the remaining 7 games. Finnie stayed locked onto that top power play unit despite being awful, while Marco languished on the no talent 2nd unit.
Marco has not gotten one look on top line this year with Raymond and Larkin. When he was moved off 2C he was demoted to 3rd line while Emmitt Finnie, awful Emmitt Finnie, remained in the top 6 and was moved to 2nd line to torture Kane. Now Finnie is back onto the top line despite 12 straight games wo a point at even strength, despite -6 in his last 12 games. Marco meanwhile is getting scratched.
This coach has destroyed Marco Kasper. Is this what Steve Yzerman hired this guy to do? Ruin the prospects?
his answers on Copp and Kasper and his treatment of them and of Kane show a coach who literally seems to have absolutely no clue about player motivation or morale. he's just oblivious. entirely oblivious to the motivation factor and morale. it's becoming easier and easier to see why this dude has failed his entire career.
Every time a game is lost the ditch diggers run the keyboard ragged…. 4 games over 500 and at least 10 points ahead of last year. Beat Columbus and shut DD’s up please!
Kasper not even playing bad. Every player stat line and performance is predictable based on lines.
Last yr played wing w/ Larkin and Raymond. 2C w/ Kane and CAT. This yr. 2nd line w/ Compher, Appleton, Kane and CAT. He looked good w/ Kane and CAT. CAT's shots just weren't going in.
This is a trickle-down effect from playing Finnie. We will see it again tomorrow when top line doesn't score. Finnie needs moved to GR as he doesn't have NHL shot or play making ability.
It's affecting the entire team and destroying Berggrens Career and now Kasper's development.
