Olivier elbowing on Chisholm – Tough Call Recommendation
Mathieu Olivier was given a five minute major penalty for elbowing Declan Chisholm. I think the issue isn’t what part of the body hit the head, but more the angle of approach.
Penalty? Sure. Suspension? No. Chisholm stops up as Olivier is going for the hit. That’s what caused the head contact. If he doesn’t stop up, the contact is likely through the shoulder and clean.
