Penguins Postgame: That One Sucked. Inside the Terrible Loss

  1. Murashov was the only bright spot of that game, although I thought that Kindel and Poulin put together some good shifts

  2. The slide continues! Blast off then flameout! It's crash and burn and the downward spiral continues! it didn't take long for the other teams to figure out the new system! Loss after loss after continuous loss! It all pisses us off!!!!!!!!!!

  3. As always the very best coverage and analysis available anywhere! Love the show! Keep up the great work! Love the down to earth, humourous, and no ego personality that other shows do not have! People know good shows! Big fan here!

  4. I’ll tell you the main reason why we loss “Letang” , Shea wasn’t good but he’s being left in awful position by his partner. Also Hayes and Dewar should never be nowhere near the first two lines. As soon as I seen the lineup I knew it was a loss. Muse better wake up quick, this was pathetic.

  5. Hey DK, you mention early on about holding onto pucks, well Rust never does either, he dumps and chases and most times just turns over possession. Line one is supposed to set the tone for the game and they all have been awful over the last five games or so. I'm pointing the finger at Sid too, he's not leading the charge and not at 100%? Is it time they separate Rust and Crosby, it doesn't work and they chase the play more then they are holding onto the puck. It doesn't matter if its Dewar or Kindle, even Rakkell, this line as it is will be -30 on the season …….that is not good metrics. Am I the only one that sees that Rust is not a legit number one line guy and maybe Sid needs some sort of help at this stage. With three wins in the last ten reality has hit. They will win some, lose lots…..but they need to at least compete, last night was embarrassing, it was as bad as the first game against Nashville. Its time to change up line one please, another -3 on the night, setting the tone not for the game, but the season!

  6. Well, I’m not panicking yet.
They hadn’t played in a while, had to come all the way back from Europe, etc. However, water is eventually going to find its own level to some extent.

They are pretty much 10-10 (an OT loss is just a close loss that they give you a consolation prize for.) They can still pull out of this, or they could collapse. Probably a pretty crucial point right now.
