Rasmus Dahlin is back with the Buffalo Sabres after taking a leave of absence to be with his fiancée. He participated in today’s morning skate. Zac Jones has been assigned to the Rochester Americans (AHL) to make room for Dahlin on the roster.
Dahlin’s return is a welcome boost for the Sabres, as he anchors their top defensive pairing and power play. He had 9 points in 14 games before his leave.
Zac Jones heads back to the AHL despite a strong start with Rochester, where he leads all AHL defensemen in points. He didn’t see any NHL action during his call-up.
