I’ll always handicap a NBA players talent by their height. It’s why the LeBron v Jordan debate is silly. MJ 6’6 will always trump LeBron. Every inch higher is an easy level up. It’s way harder to dominate at a lower height and MJ did that like no other 6’6.

I think if you’re a fan you want the game to be competitive, with great players being great due to skill. But the physical advantage here is outrageous, it’s like a pro playing with junior high schoolers. It does take the fun out of it, even for him, I think he won’t really feel as accomplished due to his height advantage. But that’s the game, it’s about advantages: speed, coordination, knowledge of the game, shooting ability, strength, and height.
