I caught a lot of flack online, last year when Yager was traded for McGroarty. Some people couldn't, or wouldn't, understand how it was a good move for the Pens because McGroarty was more NHL ready because of the difference in the competition level that the two players had been playing against. Yager's success had been against teens, whereas McGroarty's success had come against young college aged men. There's a big difference in the physical demands.
Look at Gavin McKenna. He's doing pretty well, but he's not nearly as dominant as he was in juniors.
Silovs suits Oilers well, probably a bigger chance of winning the cup than with Pittsburgh. Now Hyman also healthy and they can battle for a cup.
Jarry is a prime example of why you dont throw players in the trash, like all the fans want to do the first time he lets in an easy one. He adds value to the team in a multitude of ways.

I don't live in Pittsburgh, nor have I paid enough attention to you/your team's coverage of practices, which is why I'm asking this question: does Brunicke practice with different players in the lineup? Does he ever line up with Tanger/Karlsson?
I'm curious, what did the kraken have to do that got Shane Wright to the ahl instead of the juniors
Hextall drafted Sergei Murashov, Rutherford drafted Blomqvist, and then Rutherford gifted/traded Silovs to Penguins for a reason that i still don't think is a good one, and for only a 4th round pick? Looks downright terrible now. I guess he still likes us. Interesting that having 3 good young goalies is really from our previous GM's tho, not Dubas.
Good morning DK, Victor from Canada 🇨🇦 here. Yes, I agree with you in your take of the Leafs (I can't stand TO anything really) We sure do have this incredibly great problem to have with our goalie situation, not forgetting Larsson or that other guy, forgot his name, that has played in Wilkes. If our goalies are all on cue we'd have 5 going strong. With the two, Jarry & Silvos in the NHL, and the other top 3 in our farm, of Murashov, Bloomqvist, and Larsson. Given, and I honestly believe it will be next year, that Murashov will be full-time on our NHL team, and obviously like you said from month to month you never know, who might bring us the best return or best trade for us moving forward? It would be easy to say Jarry but there's the salary & term issue. J1Q possibly? Blessings to you Dan, 🙏 ❤️ ✝️
Jarry or Silovs is traded to to Edmonton. Murashov needs to remain in NHL. I know he's young. But he is READY. The Oilers will not win a cup with Skinner.
