Just in the past 7 games alone, the Oilers have allowed 34 goals against.Thats about 6 goals per game on average. It's a miracle that they were actually able to even win any of those games and its delusional to think goaltending has nothing to do with it.

If every Oilers defenseman matched Emberson’s level of aggression, this team would finally give itself a real chance. The contrast with Bouchard could not be sharper. Every time he turns the puck over, his so-called “chase” of the forward is painful to watch. It is performative effort, not competitive effort, and for a top-four defenseman on a supposed contender, that is simply unacceptable.
If you're an NHL goalie and you let in 3 in the first period, it's time to ride the pine and tend to your sunburn. Skinner is half the goaltender that Pickard is. Skinner is TOO DEEP. He does down too early all the time, then tries to make himself look bigger and opens up the 5, 6 & 7 holes.
Coach them. Don't just arbitrarily mix up lines for a day and switch again the next…feels like a total shtsshow these days. This guy was selling snake oil all this time…

You should be scoring 5-6 goals a game. Play more time in the opositions end. Not rocket science
