My Martin Necas Hype Won’t Be Stopped By A Loss | Avalanche Review Game 3

A three point night from both Martin Necas and Nathan MacKinnon got the Colorado Avalanche a point against the Dallas Stars but the Avs still took an L in the shootout. Lehkonen and Brindley also scored for Colorado.

  1. Yeah, not weird cause same, this team played great and deserved the win. But, that's hockey 🤷

Was happy with how the PP felt. The PK was great.

Wedgie wasn't bad but needed to be better, allowing 4 on 12 shots is why we need the Steady Yeti back.

Wedgie works best in a tandem. The more you play him… So really hope we get the Yeti back soon and Miner is definitely taking 1 of the next 2 games I feel.

  2. Nope. Can’t go with you. No moral victories against Dallas. The difference is in goal. Oettinger is just way better than us in goal. And they seem to just bury their chances. We don’t. They have our number. If we face them again in playoffs I don’t give us a good shot.

  3. Excellent review, as always. Also, your beard is looking good, all trimmed up with what looks like a fresh hair cut. I don't normally complement dudes on their looks, but it's a good look for you. Also, thanks for don't these. I alway look forward to them.

  4. Pathetic embarrassing piss poor power play. A peewee team can kill a penalty vs Colorado. They just stand in one spot and toss muffins at the goalie. They move better in the ozone at 5v5. New pp coach, but same pp.

  5. I have a trust like you that Avs will be a better team this year. They will get longer in play offs.

  6. Nobody is doubting Necas. That still doesnt change the fact they will lose to Dallas in the 7 game series. At this point it is mental, psychological issue. They cant capitalize in the clutch, whereas Dallas always does. Simples as that.

  7. It always stings a bit when Mikko has a good game against AVS… and Marty is a really really good player as well but he is not as great as Rantanen. I think the last playoffs were a proof of that. I wonder if AVS management has learned their lesson and will pay 13 or 14 M USD /season for Necas, or do we see a series of fuck ups and really good players leaving the roster. Then the AVS will fade away again in the playoffs…Any thoughts on that?

  8. The Stars in my opinion with less talent found another way to win. That is the part Av's haven't learned. Yes, they might have outplayed them but couldn't beat him. And gave up 4 too. Same old Avs

  9. I personally am getting tired of the crying over Mikko. His trade allowed Avs more options for depth. Necas is looking like he is going to have a great year.

  10. Im guessing solovyov was the best defenseman they could pick up in free agency and waivers.

Man i wish avs brought EJ for 1 more year.

  11. Agree with every one of those points. Brindley is a bright spot, and team structure looked very good. Solovyov and Olafsson are going to need some time to gel with the other skaters. Otter played off his head. Wedgie had a good game, as good as you can expect from a number two 'minder, when there are defensive breakdowns and breakaways.

Anybody who says they'd rather have Rantanen than Necas is ignoring the fact that his work ethic was awful and he was a cancer in the dressing room. He expected the rest of the team to carry him rather than the other way around. If you have Nate and Marty, you can put 11, 13, 62, or 92 out there with them and expect spectacular results.

I can't believe that some fans actually believe that they know more than Sakic and MacFarland. We are so fortunate to have them calling the shots.

  12. This march Dallas will return and come a whippin and a whoopin to the Avs doing the number six dance!

  13. I think Olofsson does well in Colorado . I wish we would’ve kept him instead of Saad honestly lol Saad is a hard worker but not really producing anything. Olofsson has a great shot and can score when he needs too. You guys look great to start the season. See ya soon!
