Igor Shesterkin freaked out. Removed 40 seconds before the end of the game #shorts

They pulled Igor out with 40 seconds left because of the concussion protocol, 2-3 minutes after he was hit on the head. He shook himself up a bit, but he was definitely good enough to keep playing. Between the time he was taken off the ice and the time he returned, only a few minutes passed before the shooting began. I would guess that checking for a concussion isn’t exactly simple and easy, so I doubt they did it at all. I think they just put him back on the ice because they knew that we would lose to Georgiev in a shootout. Medical staff may be fined or even suspended for this, fingers crossed, it doesn’t really matter, but we may hear more about it in the future.

  1. You really can't blame the medical staff.. The Rangers defense needs to learn to protect their star goaltender.. Can't afford for him to always get hit or, interfered with..L.G.R.!!!!!
