I got scorpioned at The Wedge. 25’ on a sandy bottom. Felt every one of my vertebrae crack and later found out I had a hairline fracture in my C7. I cannot imagine the same thing at 50’ Jaws.
I don’t surf but when I was in high school, I went to Nauset Beach with my friends when there was a crazy storm and jumped in the water to show off to girls. Got out and body surfed one wave perfect, but right after I came up the next wave smashed me and I was tumbling for about 30 seconds. I can’t imagine 50 -60 seconds….. I think I would’ve been gone
