I saw the outtake clip of Giroux's interview here that the Senators released on social media, where he was laughing very heartily and joking around with Tim Stützle and another player off-camera. I mean this sincerely: It does me good to see the man laugh and enjoy himself.
I miss having him in Philly a great deal, but I'm grateful a player of his greatness is still playing in this league. Most of his generation are retired, or will be soon, so we are fortunate to get to see them play. Also glad that G seems to be happy.
