I think i am to smart to be a brawler but thats on my coaches call… and i might not do it the way every one is expecting… its any way i can knock your lights out so i will try to do it in one punch but im so fast three punches will come out before i can stop them…
I know alot of people hate the visors in fights (myself included) but you have to remember the league instituted a rule that requires all players who entered the league after a certain year to wear one. The guys who were in the league before that cutoff year have the option of wearing one. Alot of the players who choose to do so because they go down to block shots very often during games, something that players in old time hockey rarely did and thus didn't really need to worry about taking a slapshot in the eye. If you want to be mad about something, be mad about the rule that gives players an extra penalty for taking their helmets off before they get into a fight.
The leafs who look like they will be playing the hated bruins yet again, would be wise to dress a couple of physical guys in the lineup. Thinking of Richard Clune or Tom Sestito up front, maybe Borgmann on the back end. I think a couple of good fights, maybe a line brawl to send the Bs a message. It would surprise the F out of them. Go after Chara and wear his 40 year old body down.
Not a Bruins fan but I have the utmost respect for the way they stand up for themselves and each other. Bruins always seem to ice these types of teams. Can't wait to see them mulch the leafies again in the playoffs.
