Trey Augustine and Max Plante are dominating the NCAA. Augustine is pimping a .943sv% with #1 ranked MSU, while Plante is leading the NCAA in scoring with Minnesota-Duluth. In the AHL, the Griffins are off to a 10-0-1 start, the best in franchise history, despite top prospects being called up or hurt. Detroit hosts the Seattle Kraken Tuesday. #LGRW

Brian really needs to fix his camera situation, it is freezing up.
Max Plante and Trey Augustine are both Hobey Baker Award favorites so far!
From the understanding I have. Trey Augustine is going to forgo his senior year. At the end of his senior year he will be an unrestricted free agent.
You know who else is red hot?
Wallstedt in Minnesota Wild, he just had his second consecutive shutout.
Remember Yzerman trading up to take Cossa over Wallstedt … 😢
The Wings Goalie Bank with (3) legit prospects is great!
Will Yzerman use one in a trade package at some
Point?? .
When are we going to admit cossa is likely a bust
You could have mentioned the goalie that was injured. That's part of the reason they have all those strange stats for sea…. Attle
Thirty shit what?
Mazur will not make it in the nhl, he is always hurt.
Cossa seems to be hurt everytime he turns around.
College hockey is worlds apart from the NHL.
You two guys are very off-base when it comes to hockey.
Youth is not the answer to fixing the Wings. It is, however, a good start. Patients, leadership, and a good deal of tutoring will make a NHL player.
Last time i watched a game out in Plymouth the one and only Derek Lalonde was a few sections over from me. This was just a couple weeks after he was let go.
You finally got the Russian sniper’s name pronounced correctly!!
College has been putting out massively talented goalies in the NHL for quite some time now. A lot of times ones that stay there , like augustine , go straight to the n h l and star.
Cossa does not look like a bust in g r and he's not old. I don't know why people think this guy is so old. He's only like 22, I think, and he's huge. Big players always develop slower. He looks fine right now. They said when they drafted him that he was going to need development , because he wasn't quite refined as some other goal on top of being huge. As soon as I heard the scouts saying that I thought to myself , this guy won't be ready till he's twenty four or five.
Coach is playing better than Wallstedt right now.
See… "attle"? 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Buch is actually on the worst team in the KHL and is clearly the best on the team from watching highlights. Gives teammates great feeds and they miss the net so he will be very used to it when he gets to Detroit
So, can we call up Augustine now? We need get these guys pro ready
Dylan James is having a solid season as well
I feel like there's going to be so much turnover on this team in the next year or two. A lot of young guys are coming!! Pretty excited, I feel like we're finally seeing Yzermans drafts making an impact!
I still think we're looking at future Jennings trophy winners. With Augustine as 1A and Cossa as 1B. I wish we had a little more consistency from Cossa at times, but I think he's going to figure it out
