  1. The effort was there. The decision-making and talent were not. Eh, I'm fine with it. Play our way through this and get healthy.

  2. I accidentally watched the first three minutes at 1.25x and holy smokes i thought you were methbeared up or something. Micromachines man "isaidthisbeforewereastepbelowcontendingoneoftheteamsonthebottomhalfoftheleagueidontfullyunderstandwhyyetbutthatshowifeel" holy

  3. Hey Low Qual when you think it’s worth doing, could you maybe do an update on how our prospect pool is doing. Providence and otherwise?

  4. Blumel and tufte couldn’t keep up with the pace at all. I’m curious why not Lysell. I understand they’re having issues with him in providence, but it seems like he would be a better fit for that 2nd line than anyone else they have.

  5. The better team won….and it wasn't us. Surprise, surprise. đŸ€Ł
But the Bruins fought to the end and deserved at least a goal.
They had a couple of chances, what more can you ask?
    Go Bruins.

  6. The Bruins have Trouble with the Canes for many, many, many years đŸ€”đŸ˜łđŸ™„đŸ˜. Ever since they were the Hartford Whalers (1997) , they seem to have a Big Chip on their shoulders against us, continuing that old rivalry. I just hope for the best against them. Because they have been a better team for along time ! Except for a couple of years ago when the B's had that record winning season. These two call ups won't/ shouldn't be in the NHL long, return to Sender. I really miss those injured B's , get well soon. Go B's 🎉

  7. On the bright side, Buffalo seems to be trying to make the division an even bigger cluster-f all the sudden.

  8. The second period, last night, was the worst period in years. So frustrating after Saturday night. I count five rookies, or near rookies, on the team. I hope that bodes well for the future.

  9. Patience is right. Sturm is the right coach for where this team is now. We are playing with house money this year. Hope to contend for a playoff spot, let the roster develop. We've got prospects at BC and North dakota, we have guys in providence, we have many many draft picks, take the Long view…

  10. how good are these olympic teams going to be? the Bs second line is Steeves, Zachs, Blumey. and no chuck. this screws up the P Bruins too.

  11. At first I was upset at the referees but as the game went on it was clear it was just not our night clearly out played call it out manned or what ever you want at least injuries are early hopefully and we can move forward from here to be realistic need to hold the line on the road trip đŸ€ž

  12. Hope we can get Poitras and Merkulov back in the lineups in the future. Blumel and Tufte need to go… They're TERRIBLE. Doesn't matter that Tufte scored.

  13. Kudos to Marco Sturm for starting Blumel on 2nd line and Tufte on 2nd PP. Maybe next game the nerves will be in check and they'll play better. In this game the whole team was kind of lost not only the new guys. Excited to watch this team for the next couple of games.

  14. Sways best game? Lots of clutch saves.

Bruins really struggled with the second effort and cashing in the rebounds.

  15. This was an uphill battle with all the injuries going on. We held our own for most of it just couldn’t come out on top unfortunately.

I’m far from hitting the panic button, losses like this are gonna happen whether we’re fully healthy or not.

Let’s get back to it on the road trip. Go B’s.

  16. every time Pasta across the blueline, there were two Canes harassing him. Apparently no other linemate was capable enough to stop that, or the formation was playing into Carolina plot, so that not enough quality passes came through.

  17. Sturm is doing something that we haven't seen in like 6 coaches. He actually puts call ups and 13th forwards on the top lines in injury replacement. All those other coaches would just bump up the third liner and slot those guys into their spots and demand "earning the ice time" with hustle, which is never their game.

  18. Last year, this would have been an 8-1 drubbing. I can live with a 3-1 loss when we were playing with a few new call-ups.

  19. I would've understood John Beecher not making this team out of camp.

Cutting him now so you can play Viel or Tufte, who VERY obviously are not NHLers, makes no sense whatsoever. Say whatever you want about Beecher he's clearly an NHLer and is a better option at LW4 than either of those guys.

  20. My problem with losing Beecher is that two picks after Beecher was Shane pinto and the thought that we could have had Shane pinto on this team is very depressing

  21. Always sucks to loose, but played good D IMO for the most part, so like to see that with the injuries we’ve got. This was one of those games where you see the lack of top end playmaking/scoring threats beyond Pasta. Hopefully we get the chance to call up Poitras or Lysell and see what they’ve got.

  22. Listening to your breakdown of the Bruins struggles in this game I had to constantly keep reminding myself this is us being a walking hospital while playing a cup contender because it kept giving me flashbacks to last year.
