Oilers 4 regulation wins tied for last in the NHL!
Their -12 goal differential is 29th (Buffalo -9 is 27th).
They’re one of the worst 5-5 teams in NHL. If they don’t get 3+ PP I feel like it’s hard for them to win.
They’re very fortunate Aves not in their division and they’ve avoided them the last 2 playoffs. That’s their best shot again to make a deep run this playoffs bc if they have to face Aves as wildcard in round 1 they’re gone in 4 or 5. They gotta pray they don’t face them at all or until the WCF.
The out of town media made a jab at the Oilers goaltending when the coach pulled Stu at 4 minutes left in the third saying empty net, his partner said what’s the difference it has been all night 😂
Oilers were still enamored with their Carolina win….. this team is still 2 top heavy guys on a "boy scout" mission to win a cup. The coach on this team is 2 guys ~97 and 29….this group needs an early exit this year to reenergize the focus… it's a shot group. They will improve this year but their "eye of the tiger" isn't on a high level.

Oilers need to start taking the season seriously. Buffalo was a team that was primed to lose, yet was successful in exposing Edmonton's game again.
Not making the playoffs. McDavid signed to be traded at a discount. To keep his wife happy.
And give Edmonton a chance to make changes that Mc D knows its not happening.

On 21 games played oilers 2 or 3 was the better team agree with brown but for making the playoffs not sure .This team is not that good.
