No the Rangers just suck and are worse with Sullivan.
Laf plays on the 1st and kakko played on the 3rd… their not comparable. Put kakko with breadman all season they prob produce more pr less the same.
Kakko is more defensively sound. Laf is faster and elite hands…. Laf dosent generate offense but he can set up.and be more of a catylist. Kakko is a great twf but yes more well suited for a mid 6 even 3rd liner…. ID keep kakko over Laf but it all depends on coaching, chemsitey, and makeup….
Let's also keep in mind Laf is naturally a LW. Let's also keep in mind kakko was never given a true opportunity to play on the top 6. In SEA he did and he had a great year with them last year.
The judgment is still TBA… that being said. If anything it's a wash… so in that case u take Kakko becayse his AAV is Half.

I thought only the LA kings turned great talent into 3 line "hard to play against" players
A little harsh but has never been what he was supposed to be . First overall pick in 2020 and half point a game player five years later. They had a lot of pretty good young players but really only Fox who chose them and Shesterkin have turned out to be elite.

The Rangers are just bad at developing players since the Stone Age. They haven’t drafted and developed a high quality skater since Brian Leetch
Players need to improve in the offseason and Lafreniere has never done that
