Finally giving the Avs some credit, no more missing the playoff talk I appreciate that! Let's go boys!!
Bednar mentioned that Brindley was a player that the Avs had looked at drafting if he had been available. They knew what they were doing
Dallas without Deboer isn’t an issue. Oilers has never been an issue. Utah for whatever reason has given them issues the last couple years
I have in depth knowledge of the avs, and this team is social. This is the second cup win almost certainly. I’d give it damn near a coin flip if we’re this healthy come playoffs. And brindley is showing us how it’s done. And he’s up on the 2nd line tonight if you wanna see him play. Not sure he’ll stay up there all night, but he’ll def get some shifts up top. And maybe even a pp1 shift or two.
Socks big Val is out historically without him they’re not as good
They'd be like Columbus? What the fuck
The Avs are scary until the big bad Dallas Stars come marching
I never get too up or too down before Thanksgiving.
Look deeper in the Brindley trade. They ended up trading Coyle and Wood for him yes, but the picks they sent for Coyle were part of the Mikko trade to carolina. So far they've gotten Drury Brindley as depth and Necas for Mikko.
playoff Coilers different than october coilers? Sure, but how soon you forget that during the Avs cup run, they wiped the FLOOR with the Coilers, 5 game series and McCheezus didnt do shit against them.
Watch Brindleys goal last night in the Buffalo game. His backwards crossovers were Makar-esq. great skating and awesome shot.
The team that the Avs have to fear is the Avs.
It's nice to see the Avalanche starting games ahead, and not behind.
Go Avs!
F Colorado
I love seeing everyone trashing the Rantanen trade, saying how much better Mikko is than Necas. Who can really say? I'll just point out that the Avs were getting booted from the playoffs by the Kraken and the Stars when they had Rantanen the Playoff Beast. And Dallas after the Rantanen trade? Not even a Cup final.
4:17 Dallas is fair but the Oilers got smoked by the Avs last playoff series. Towes and Makar play really well against Drai and McDavid.
