Recap: San Diego Gulls vs Bakersfield Condors, 11.14.2025

The San Diego Gulls fought back in dramatic fashion Friday night, erasing two separate deficits and scoring with less than one second left in regulation to take down the Bakersfield Condors 4 – 3 in overtime at Pechanga Arena.

Bakersfield built a 2 – 0 lead midway through the second period with a shorthanded goal and a power play goal. Tim Washe answered late in the period to get the Gulls on the board and shift the momentum.

Justin Bailey tied the game early in the third period on a setup from Roland McKeown and Sasha Pastujov. The Condors briefly regained the lead, but San Diego refused to go away. With the goalie pulled, the Gulls on a 6 on 3 and one second on the clock, Sam Colangelo scored his first AHL goal of the season in his first AHL game of the season on the power play to send the game to overtime and ignite the building.

San Diego carried that energy into the extra frame. Just 1:11 into overtime, Bailey scored again on the power play for his second of the night and his fifth of the season.

San Diego moves to 5-4-3-0 on the season after grabbing another big home win.
