Titans HC Brian Callahan responds to Michael Pittman Jr. comment, talks Cam Ward improvement
Tennessee Titans HC Brian Callahan said that he feels Michael Pittman Jr.’s comments were just more of an in-the-moment win jab at the team than something factual. Regardless, it showed on the field yesterday and the level of play from top to bottom has to improve. Callahan is pleased with Cam Ward’s growth, however, so far.

Every time I watch/listen to Callahan, I respect him less than I did, previously. Every time he speaks, he goes down the usual checklist of dodge, evade, use "I" when it's something good but "we" when it's something bad. Callahan hopes. Callahan would like. Callahan would prefer. Callahan asks the team. Callahan wants to improve. Callahan and team need to get better, prepare better, execute better, work together better, blah, blah, blah. Improvement is always around the next corner, but never materializes. Millions of dollars spent…and we're worse. Callahan might make a good high school coach, but not the NFL. Hey coach, a Head Coach does not ask or hope. A Head Coach tells. Just sayin'.

I feel bad for him a way, Titans didn’t really do their due diligence with really looking at his body of work to take on a role as a Head Coach. Not only that a play calling Coach. In Cincinnati he didn’t call the offensive plays. It was known, they just thought he could implement that offense with the Titans. If he didn’t call the plays, how could he implement something he knows of. And it is showing he was not capable nor ready to take on the Head Coach position. He just has a good talk game😂🤣😂
