Wasn’t even just the Teravainen tying goal.. The first goal was because Myers abandoned his man in the D zone and drifted over to the left side for some reason. Even McCabe was letting him have it.

All this video is, a collection of individual faults and mistakes. Like the players, doesn't see the team. Blame does nothing to turn it around, only makes it worse. Obviously this guy hasn't cheered for the Leafs for any part of the last 58 years, this is nothing new. "Only through adversity and persistence do you find success." NOt perfection, but excellence. Sounds like Keefe, coached "not to lose" instead of "to win," foot on the gas and the brake. Motivating or providing answers, hope is impossible in the negative. Again with the trades as a quick fix, never works. 1) Woll was over 0.900 tonight, nice to see that for once from our goalies. 2) Myers -2, again. Why not give Webber, Thrun, Benning or Danford a quick look? What is there actually to lose? 3) Leafs 28 hits, Chicago 15. 4) Robertson now tied with Knies for 4th in goals with the Leafs with 5. Yes, Knies. Trade addicts still want him gone, to trade for an older savior. (4) Faceoffs, Leafs 61.1%, wow. (5) if Nylander has disappeared on ice, find out why, ask him. maybe time on the bench will wake him up. (6) Only 3 points back of Detroit, and 4 points back of 2nd place (tied) Montreal & Ottawa in Atlantic Division, playoffs within reach even with mediocre play, get there. All is not lost. Take small step, patience, don't force it (tough in today's world), just play a little better. Instead of "must dominate" how about "you got nothing to lose" Get loose, get a grip. Bring in Simon Sinek to figure out this team and how to handle the perennially frustrated and over demanding Leaf Nation.

The teams not good enough to compete in the eastern conference. That’s what i think it comes down to. They are a wildcard team at most, even if they make the playoffs, they’re going to get out classed by any opponent. No one is saying it but the truth is losing Marner was a (MASSIVE L) just feels like the chemistry of the team is broken somewhat. Might be time to ship the whole team and join the McKenna steaks 😂
I think this team has a lack of depth. Having high paid players make things difficult to trade for players and it’s definitely an issue when the expectations is to win the cup. Also because they are not a rebuild team. They don’t have a good prospect pool. Young players bring energy to the game and it gives more opportunities for the young players to just see how they play. the defense is killing the Leafs as well . The only reliable defenseman is Tanev. There’s no structure and there is no identity and having an identity brings a winning culture. Shanahan ruined this core because if he didn’t give them max contracts I guarantee, this Leafs team would have already won 2 or 3 cups because they would have that extra money to go and get a player who can make a impact in the playoffs. I don’t think making changes in coaching or management isn’t going to change this season.

In 1973, I was a Leafs fan until Paul Henderson, the man who scored the goal in the USSR – NHL Summit, left the Maple Leafs for the WHA's Toronto Toros. Leafs haven't done anything in forever. The Red Wings haven't made the playoffs in nine seasons and yet, have won 4 Stanley Cups since 1967. Leafs are pathetic.

I disagree. Rielly's number one job is to play solid D , which he doesn't. That's why he is called a defenseman and he is getting paid like a top D man. Myer's is awful sometimes and you shouldn't expect much from him, but Rielly is awful all the time. Whoever he plays with, loses his skill and his game.

Let's all remember he isn't Makar or Hughes. He makes second pairing money and is moced up and asked to play 25 mins a night at times in his career.

It wasn't until last night that I thought the Leafs could actually miss the playoffs. Sorry to say it Johnny, they're a team in complete disarray. No structure, no fight in them at all; it wouldn't be assuming too much to suggest they're trying to get Berube fired. Of the seven Canadian teams, I believe Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Ottawa are the teams that will make the 2026 playoffs.

Disagree, Tavares has been amazing, pretty much the whole season. Robertson and McMann have been flying too. Nylander, Matthews and little bit of Knies have not been nearly good enough.
Maccelli, Joshua and Roy a combined 7 goals in 19 games. 😂😂 Treliving and Berube both need to go and should have never been hired. 🤡🤡
