The Calgary Flames have made a roster move, sending defenceman Daniil Miromanov back to the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers. Miromanov, a right-shot defender, joined the Flames in 2024 but struggled to find a consistent role. With seven defencemen on the roster, the Flames have assigned Miromanov to the AHL, avoiding the need to go through waivers again. The move drops the Flames’ active roster to 22 players, and they will carry a $100,000 cap penalty for Miromanov’s AHL assignment.
