  1. Make a move? With what assets? They have no pics. All the tradeable assets have No Move clauses. So again what moves that will have any impact

  2. WHen Leafs are missing 2 Centers… Why is Cowan playing, but not Quillan ?
    Is Berube mentally ill?

  3. Look at the last couple of deals. We gave up a first and Minten for Carlo. He is a decent defenceman, but I am surprised at how soft he plays. I think because he has a bad concussion history. I like Laughton, but again a first and a decent winger that works hard and has some grit. Both of those deals are not aging well. At this point, no more trading high picks and prospects. The other issue is Treliving brought in some size, but these guys are all soft as well. It was painful the other night watching McAvoy cross-check Roy 2-3 times when he was down, and when Roy got up he did nothing. The other issue is these new guys are a little slow as well, that is part of the reason we are terrible defending against the rush, and give up near the most goals against on the rush.

  4. It went from a knife slipped and Hughes cut his hand, to he leaned into a glass, now it's he slipped and fell into a glass. Wth is it?? This just screams the player was being stupid, and the team is covering it up.
We aren't dumb… he was obviously not 100% in his right mind.

  5. If you're not talking about the core, don't bother wasting your breath. The core is rotten. Has been all along. It's just finally starting to smell like it.

  6. Which top-end player would the Leafs give up for Tage Thompson? Or are ppl suggesting the Leafs get Thompson for a handful of spare parts…

  7. So a bottom 6 for a bottom 6. That will fix nothing. No futures. No drafts picks. No core players are moving. What a waste of a segment. Good luck Toronto.

  8. Was Treliving a winner in Calgary? Nope, but Shanny, who hired loser Dubas, hired him. Berube, won a cup with a hot 4th string goalie, then the team sucked for years and he got fired. But leafs hired him. Retreads. Leafs best team had core 4, Hyman, Kadri. Dubas screwed that up, and now look at roster. 6,7 useless forwards, goalie who cant keep his mouth shut and stop pucks, and 2 to 3 horrible defensemen. Anyone that expects this to be more than a 500 club are delusional.

  9. gave away 100 plus point player why ?? now in last place ?? who would have thunk it ?? btw hawks beat em up on sat. nite…😅😅😅

  10. Make a move hbut not touching the core, prospects and no draft picks. So the plan is rearranging chairs on the titanic.

  11. It's funny how the Mapple Leafs didn't need the 'core 4.' Well evidently they did. No wonder why M.M. wanted out of Toronto. They are the most insufferable fan base.

  12. They have already done everything, short of a rebuild. First dubas did a pretty decent job of trading away all the picks. Then tree did a pretty decent job of scraping together new talent while trading away fewer picks than Dubas. And combined, it did put the team over the hump and into the second round. But, if that gain was illusory because say marner was more critical to the mix than anyone knew, or a bunch of any other reasons, i can't see how you save it from collapsing now. it's unfortunate, but it might just be the reality. What are other examples of seemingly strong teams that coasted along year after year, before suddenly going to pieces all quite suddenly?

  13. the leafs problem is from above dont make anymore bad moves even david kampf is an example how they treat players

  14. They should trade next year's first round draft pick …oh hold it …they don't have a first pick for the next two years😅😅😅😅😅
Third oldest team in the league too .
    Great job 👍👏

  15. We all know Trey Living single-handedly destriyed the Calgary Flames, but the Hog Town media and the unbelievably loyal fans CELEBRATED it. Should we look at his fine work?
    Maccelli – 8pts +1
    Johnson – 5pts -7
    Lorentz – 5pts -5
    Roy – 4pts -4
    Blais – 2pts -2
    Carlo – 2pts +2
    Laughton – 2pts -2
    Mermis 0 pts -3
    Myers’s 0 pts -7

Trey did get OEL and he’s been great. But guys like Rose and Yawn Kipper celebrated EVERY move, including making Mathews Capitano. Where is all the support beyond those that CARRY the Team? The players here are responsible for -25. Is it possible Trey thinks MINUS is a good thing? The GM is EXACTLY what I expected and could be ShanaPLAN SHANAHAN’s parting GIFT to those who paid him MANY MILLION$ to fail for 10 years. Yawn Kipper and Rose thought it was “too early” to comment on Captain Heartless wearing the “C”. Is it because it wasn’t a HOCKEY move but a Business Decision by Pelley…not to help win games but to move Merch? Get comfortable all you fabulously loyal Leaf fans, you are in for a LONG wait ‘till the Leafs are relevant again. As a poor dumb bastard in Ottawa, I would move Trey, Berubé, trade Captain Heartless and remove Pelley from ANY decision effecting the product on the ice.

  16. The Leafs contension window is rapidly closing…. they only have a handful of diserable assets that would bring back a meaningful return.

  17. they keep trading away their first round picks. Now we have lost Minton in a stupid trade. who is next, Cowan? Maybe trade him for a washed up defenceman

  18. Toronto set up Boston nicely. 2 first round picks and Minten. Get real! There is no magic trade out there.

  19. Unless they are moving Nylander. Knies or Matthews there will not be anything of significance coming in return.
