  1. Yall wanted a chance to callup someone from labal.. well u got it.. no chance davidson out performs veleno so our offense need to come from the top 2 lines..

  2. If we can’t absorb these injuries, habs will lose their image of being a desired destination.. the powerhouse teams still find a way to win w en with a couple key injuries..

  3. It's ok, the team is bounded to regress. That's why we shouldn't sell the farm for some rentals. Be patient, the team is still at least a year away from being truly competitive.

  4. Nobody can replace what Newhook was doing, big hole, was hoping Guhle was gonna return soon to shore up the defense, cause this defense is struggling, these guys are not good enough to hold the fort.

  5. No to Kampf. Bring up Dauphin and/or Davidson and Engstrom. If Dauphin doesn't stick with the senior side this time, package him up. Florian's Laval point output has been a bit disappointing. Newhook out for 4 months is a disaster. What a shame. The Habs are going to need a healthy and productive Laine. Veleno has been somewhat underwhelming. Thanks guys.

  6. this is were montreal looses me i have 0 problem with davidson comin up but put him on the 2nd line with demi and kap please .

  7. I'm sure they're both nice kids but I just hope the Habs move away from both Guhle and Reinbacher sooner rather than later. If the ultimate goal is to win the Cup, you simply can't have 2 Ds that are this injury-prone on the team at the same time. Imagine having a strong contender to begin the post season…only to see either one or both get hurt before getting to the Finals. Just can't take that chance. We can just surround a very competent trio like Hutson, Dobson, and Matheson, with big, stay-at-home defensemen to complete our top 6. A guy like Owen Protz comes to mind. On a human level I wish both Guhle and Reinbacher well…but on a hockey level I must admit being a little fed up with them. Enough is enough with the repeat injuries already. Don't care how talented you are and how much potential you may have, if you're not in the lineup, you're useless.

  8. They need a psysical D man like Guhle, but he's always hurt. The D is soft and no one likes soft D. The Habs don't scare anybody, one guy doesn't do much. You need solid 3,4 lines but that will come in time or years.

  9. veleno is trash , laine is trash , i dont mind hughes taking a flyer on kampf has a stop gap , its funny to see you and jeese losing your minds over a ex leaf 😂

  10. Thé reason the defence is struggling is because The good teams have been studying Hutson in the off season. Those good teams have an answer for him. If you pay attention.

  11. As suggested by Pierre McGuire , Davidson and Xhekaj should both be in to form an energy line, and Veleno out. It leaves Gallagher back with Anderson and Evans as a checking line.

  12. Guys Let’s not panic here. Davidson, Beck, Roy, Farrell Bring one of them and see how it goes. Rotate after 3-4 games if any of them can’t follow the parade Then see if a short term deal makes sense. Remember Hage and Zharovsky are here next year Unless we are going down in a spiral from now until Xmas

  13. Kampf cleared waivers. If Habs have any interest, they will wait for a buyout to occur and possibly sign him to to low end contract (not a chance that the Habs would touch him with a $2.4M cap hit). Wonder if Habs will take Troy Stecher off waivers or bring up Engstrom? Guhle's absence is a lot more noticeable the last several games as the Habs have been very sloppy on coverage.

  14. Rebuild is ongoing. Lots of young talent available plus tons of cap space. Some of these kids are made of glass though… its odd. Injury prone players do nothing for ya come playoffs
