It’s not that I dislike Tipp. He’s a good player. He’s maybe slightly overpaid but can’t even really say that with the cap rising and him locked in for 6 more years. There’s just too much at the wing, and particularly for guys that naturally play the right side. Mich, Konecny, Martone, Foerster, Grebenkin, Brink, Hathaway (not that you’re building around him long term, but he’s the 7th guy on the list). Sure some of those guys can play left but it’s not optimal, and you’ve got needs at center and D. If you can include him in a deal to bring back a proven player at one of those positions, I’m okay with it.
what the hell are these guys smoking,tippet is gaining confidence and young enough to be in his prime when our franchise goalies arrive.Konecny is the flyers and battles every night,perfect to lead our team into the future.
He’s definitely the guy that should be the first to go if the flyers ever want to bring in a “big time” player down the road. Like if they need another center or dman, Tippett should be the main guy in trade talks.
Our top 6 wingers for the future are TK, Michkov, Martone, and then either him or Foerster. Zegras maybe even because idk if he’s a legit center. So he’s just the odd man out.

Would not trade Tippett or Konecny, but I would only trade Tippett for a top pair Dman otherwise don’t trade.
