The Vancouver Canucks lose to the Colorado Avalanche 5-4 in overtime in a great game. Kiefer Sherwood, Drew O’Connor were the greatest Canucks tonight and they put up a great effort against Nathan MacKinnon who really looks liek the best player in the NHL right now.

Can't be mad with the effort. However, their PK is hot garbage. Need more consistency, or else we will be back to dogging them again, and nothing will change.

Avs vs Canucks games always pretty exciting. I remember vividly there was a game back in Nov 2018 the Nucks beat them 7-6 in OT. Monster night for Boeser (5 pts) and Petey (4 pts). And it was Derrick Pouliot of all people who scored the OT winner.
I can say with full confidence this is the first game this season i haven’t been upset with a Canucks loss 😂

Went and watched this game live and boy was this great I loved the Abby line and something you should've mentioned was this was Hughes best game of the season he was genuinely outperforming makar
Lankinen needs to work on his rebound control, but that was a really entertaining game from start to finish. Special teams also need work because right now it’s pretty horrendous.

I watched this game in person because I always felt like watching the matchup between them. This for sure was an amazing game
The fact that canucks are able to make this game close with several injuries, ahl players, back up goalie and petty woth 0 points against the avs who are on a heater, gives me enough confidence that one good trade for a good forward can make us contenders

They played a great game, we are coming together, power play is the difference, we are not good at it yet, Quinn can’t get through to the goal it’s insane to see.

The most important trait for me is effort. Win or lose, I don’t really care, but ya better put the work in against the top dogs and they did just that. Big fan of the compete boys

Saying the Avs core isn't impressive is a wild take when they've been getting scoring up and down the lineup and also on their back to back they had to travel.
