Kings have won 2 straight at home. 3 days ago they defeated the Pengoons by the same score 2-1. Good job Kings. I know they are not even close anywhere near playoffs position. Sunday is March 1st.
Despite coming against a team almost as mediocre as they are, this was an impressive win for the Kings. That is two in a row for my Kings. It is no accident that both wins coincided with solid performances in goal by first Petersen ,and then Quick. That is the only way the Kings can win. They just don't possess the skill players that the stronger teams have. Let's hope the Kings can make us proud over the remainder of the season, but I will settle for less ashamed.
Nice to see the vets Kopitar / Brown tag-team that tying goal in the 2nd ~ Lizotte's heads-up OT play did the trick to set up Kempe for the winner 😉 ~ 2-game win streak!! LoL = Going for 3 in Vegas on Sunday 😀
Such great goaltending, vintage Quick and a very good looking youngster in Blackwood. Wow! Doughty still a joke, Blake traded the wrong guys and kept Martinez and Toffoli. Trading Doughty would have net a huge return and the Kings could still be somewhat strong contenders. Both Blake and Doughty have been the main reasons for the Kings decline into last place two seasons in a row. Its unacceptable and I was very adamant about this happening 3 years ago.

Small boo,was a goalies game and both teams had their chances,sorry the Devils couldn't pull it off.
