Bad hit!!! I often call the Canes Candy Canes because they do not have enough grit and often let other teams run all over them with zero response. I believe toughness/grit is the missing link to the Canes. Fl basically stole the Canes system but added gritty and many times dirty play and have been to the finals 3 years in a row and SC Champs 2 in a row. To see the Captain come in and drop the mitts I knew right away it was a bad hit as the Canes do not drop the Mitts for clean hits ever!!!
