Wether they trade Slafkovsky for Thompson I don't know,but I've been saying it for 2 years that Slafkovsky will be gone within 2 years of not sooner. He's the only piece of the rebuild that is expendable.You move Dach in his position and you put Thompson with Demidov and Newhook or Bolduc. Kapannan on third line center with Gallagher with Bolduc or Newhook. Stay tune if Slafkovsky falls asleep he'll be gone by Christmas

The trade makes zero sense for Buffalo

I tried to listen to your full broadcast, but I couldn’t. You ramble on, & on, & on, on the same subject for too long,,, at least for my patience anyway. Perhaps it’s because you need to fill a whole time slot, but I had to bail after hearing the Habs/Sabres trade rumours. Sorry.
How does trading Slafkovsky make any sense????
Don’t think it’ll actually happen but 💯 would do slaf plus for him. Would do him plus reinbacher etc
No thanks the Habs are young keep the youth together the Habs are okay down the middle with Suzuki Dach Newhook and Evans we’re good hang onto Slav Hughes and gorton will not move Slav they are going to back there first overall pick
The only way Thompson is traded is if he asks for one. He also has a 5 team no trade list.
Move Slav out of first line and replace with Demidov.
Doesn’t make sense se trading Slaf for him. You’re just creating another hole. I’d move Hage and Reinbacher instead and have 2 big bodies on top 2 lines in Thompson and Slaf
Not enough for buffalo. Thompsons numbers are down,and they have not won with him,but at least right now buffalo has several players out of the lineup. Buffalo needs at least caufield on a 1 for 1.
I love watchingThompson… he is a force … he would look really good in a Habs uniform…
BUT I don’t see Buffalo letting him go for one thing… they would be crazy- he’s at or near the peak of his potential

Slav is a keeper… he is a big part of the heart of the Habs… I’ve noticed he is improving slow and steady … he is a kid who is willing to listen and desires to improve… I just love the kid – I’m loving his game n more and more… he absolutely loves being a Hab…
Third reason for NO TRADE
The Montreal Press 🤪… need I say more … the Press in Montreal exist to tear down destroy their own players and coaches… I would NOT trade Slav if only to destroy their whiney narratives alone…
