  1. Now imagine him having β€œHughes” on his jersey.

First he tied the game in the last seconds one of the last games. Now he scored a hatty without even needing a PP.

Now THAT is a statement! The guy is clutch.

Hope that devils put some respect on his name and start to treat him well or finally trade him.

  2. This is not merely about this game and his fantastic hat trick, but about his whole season – he might be the most improved defender in the league. His skating, his shot and his power (he is not outmuscled anymore, gets to the puck first so many time and is able to create separation) are so much better. With Hamilton, L. Hughes, Siegenthaler, Dillon, and maybe Q. Hughes, the Devils could be a dominate force going forward.

Trade for Quin Hughes – trow in one or two 1st round picks and get it done before the window on some of the top end forwards is closing.

  3. OT winner by Nemec and assisted by Markstrom was pure cinema. I hope Nemec will keep this pace as we desperately need another solid Slovak player to show up coz there is not many anymore.
