You say a terrible schedule….they couldn’t have an easier schedule to start the season. pretty much played all non-playoff teams and pretty much home for all their games. How can you not have it anymore easier they’re just no good plain and simple excuse after excuse that’s all you guys say.
The Leafs could have answered the hit on any Boston Bruin. But never happened. This is the team the GM has assembled. No changes or grit added in the off season.
I'd want to push back on the statement, "not every team has a Mathews, Nylander, taveras " well Mathews isnt what he used to be. A ton of mid teams have a few great players and the rest of them are just fill.. even buffalo has a bunch of great players, tage Thompson, tuch, Dalian I think his name is spelt. Ottawa has Brady, Claude, stuizle ect.

Treliving losing trades is the problem
Plus the season is condensed. There’s always next year.
After all these years the Leafs can’t find a guy that skates north and south who can raise hell body checking. Thats on the GM

And in the end you need goalies with great defensive ability and defensive forwards and defensmen who can move the puck to make their forwards offensive. ..
Rebuild should start this year! Matthews needs to go!
