  1. It's not even the offense it's the goaltending and the defense which is the same as last year I don't think anyone has an answer

  2. Colorado is a wagon, but they have been amazing for the last few years. Toronto doesnt have any dawgs or psychopaths.

  3. Dude if he’s going to have a conversation with the booth or producer maybe that should just be aired. I already lost interest within a minute. This dude should not drive a show; I can do this so much better and much more awake and interesting. My god.

  4. What they're doing wrong JD, is trying to follow a guy who really doesnt want to lead because he really doesnt understand how to do so. Meanwhile the guy who can has to take a back seat because management said so in one of the Leafiest moves since Dave Keon.

  5. But are these guys not highly paid professionals. They should know how to play. These are highly paid bums that are being children. Shut up and do your job or get the hell out and bring in younger players that want to play.

  6. The Leaf players are NOT willing to pay the price for what it takes to be winners. Quite simple actually.

  7. Been saying this for years, try moving guys around more, move top two lines deeper in line up, move guys lower up

  8. This guy is so good at his job. Not even a fan of the Leafs but gotta give credit where it's due.

  9. I don’t understand where the confidence comes from in saying that this team is still a contender… They haven’t made it out of the second round once or ever looked like a serious contender for the cup. The team has clearly taken a major step backwards. To say their window is closed wouldn’t be fair but it’s quickly closing.

  10. This is a personnel issue. This is not a team. It's a bunch of plug & play players. I get the feeling that the Stanley Cup is not that important to them and the play accordingly. Do enough to get by, pick up a pay check and go home. I'm not talking about all, but in general.
Joshua, Rielly, Carlo, Domi and Maccelli need to move on to another team.

  11. Duncan Keith isn't brought up as much because of the Kyle beach incident. He didn't even speak to investigators when all this came out. Crazy it isn't talked about more. and he had refused his covid shot during the covid season. Some leader.

But it's not the hall of nice guys. It's the hall of fame I guess.

  12. I haven't watched a full game yet this season lmfao. It's hard to cheer for them when I dont even like them personally. I still love the Leaf, but this team is a bunch of losers. I'll be back when Matthews ages out or gets traded. He's so trash as a Captain I dont even want to see him succeed, he doesn't deserve it. Time to start watching more Utah and San Jose games.

  13. We have been running loaded line for years and it dosnt work , love idea of Roy or Joshua on top line

  14. Duncan Keith was very important to my Hawks and HOFer, but he was never > Kane in their Cup runs or 2010-2016 period. Towes either.

  15. The D is the same as last year. The GM did not bring in a point man for the power play. The team still thinks #44 can lead this team on the PP which is brutal thinking. The D in the d-zone has been terrible this season so far.

  16. They’re scoring a lot of goals, but they’re also allowing a lot of goals that to me is not just on defence that also falls on the goal. Stolar has been horrible. He had no problem calling out everybody and yet he still hasn’t done anything between the pipes. He’s been terrible. Maybe it’s time to come out and call out their goaltending.

  17. I think maybe half of the team wants to be here. It does not appear that Roy, Matthews, Carlo, Joshua, Maccelli and a few others want to. I'm sure the team's decision makers willl double down on trying to make the playoffs, and make the eventual rebuild far more difficult than it needs to be. A decade has been wasted.

  18. Finically there is a smart person voice out the problem should be the structure because players are all out of position instead of complaining the players are not trying blame the poor records all on their effort. Instead of blaming the players are not trying instead I predict the players trying too hard trying to contribute the offensive side after Mitch left. Great guest

  19. Leafs screwed up trying to fast track the young talent by signing the first Tavares contract. They should've been losing for a few more years. Who knows, they might've drafted Cale Makar. Go Avs!

  20. Remember when Willy said that the Halloween party helped them play well the next game? I think a long road trip & getting back to the fundamentals will help 😊
