Most of these seem to just be "plays/hits that went wrong". For the most part, I'm not seeing 5-minute penalty stuff here. Just hits where … they went awry.

Thankfully I only left the ice surface on a stretcher twice. Once was laying down to block a slap shot; to the nards and split my cup into three pieces. The second was a crosscheck in the numbers and the latch on the bench wasn't hooked. I went into the door jam collar bone & neck first. Dislocated shoulder, 3 broken ribs and a shattered collar bone for plates & screws… Rest of the season was a wash obviously; the following season, ohh I got mine in blood from his face!

Hockey is like 1000x more dangerous than any other sport.
All those hits were clean , non of them were dirty hits. My only gripe with the NHL is they should go back to the old standards when the Goal Crease was protected only for the goalie; Once a player steps in to the Goal Crease, the play is blown dead, even if a goal was scored.
