Last night they came within 1 after starting so badly early. It was 4 -3 and then Domi takes a stupid penalty trying to fight Zadorov and the bruins score on the powerplay. They look bad. No one hits, no one plays defense, no one blocks shots, and the goalies aren't stopping shit. The team is too slow and the team is too small. Last year I thought we were getting tougher but then this year they lost a lot of team toughness. We are screwed.
If you need something new, Canadiens are very fun to follow this year 😉
How about putting Morgan Reilly on the Offense like Wendel just as an experiment and see what happens I'm sure he can click with any of the lines and a fresh face on the defense.

The Leafs mental preparation for games seems to be based on the assumption that they’ll be playing a game of Shinny. And, their opponents seem to know they can take advantage of that.
Berube needs to invoke his inner Tortorella, or kiss his job goodbye.
How many coaches have they fired in recent years? And what good did it do? They are clearly not the problem – look at what Keefe is doing in NJ. It's hard to say what the problem is – but as a Habs fan, I am loving it. 🙂

I personally don’t think the coach is the problem. I think that ever since the trades we made in the off seasons as well as the signings, as much as they weren’t the greatest, the synergy is not there. Defence isn’t great, the lines are the greatest right now considering how many changes they’ve made with the lineups game after game, leafs have too many forwards and some of those either needs to get waived traded or released. Domi should not be a centre he needs to be on the wing. I think get rid of Jankrok and Blais, bring back Kampf (if that’s even possble) to have him Laughton and Lorentz play the 4th line. I think we desperately need some RHFs because majority of the team is lefty’s. Without Tanev our defence literally lacks blocks and clearing. Maybe it might be worth trading Myers and Carlo because it’s just not working out.
