Great game guys…Habs are ROLLING ..!! Newhook outstanding ..! Monty is back …Kapanen on fire …Demidov amazing ..!! Goal Caufield the real deal .!!
Noah Dobson, Alex Newhook, Slav, and Oliver Kapanen are all sneaky good.
Monty held the fort until this group woke up in the third. Contributions up and down the lineup.
if it was pittsburgh i would say that is a major statement. to me it was a statement. they played well indeed. but not major team opponent. Kapanen is a rizing 2nd 3rd center man. Dack still needs ice time to get to be a 2nd center. he playing much better in the last 4-6 games and that is encouraging.
What helps a lot for Nick and Cole is that Slaf bloomed and figured it out. Slaf is now what we all wanted him to be.
Beating Utah isn't a major statement.
wouldn't it be interesting to show current Habs roster (incl. Ghule) and show their draft number … not sure how that stacks against other teams but guess Habs have a ton of first rounders gathered on a team now, so lots of pedigree to work with, just have the right coach to develop them … MSL !!!
Totalement vrai

Newhook and Dach!! So happy for both of them, and damn, Alex can skate!!!
As a rival team fan, I have to respect the hustle of the Habs. This is probably one of the most interesting and young team, some of the best rookies and a consistent effort. Being a Bruins fan, I’m supposed to hate the Habs, but I really can’t find a reason to hate this team. Nothing but respect for Suzuki and the gang, clicking and creating magic. I think MTL really has a shot at the cup this season.
This was the breakout we’ve all been waiting for. No team is perfect and we had some puck luck, but then we just took over.
cooley with demidov, 😢
i understand that slaf can bring someting else that cooley cant bring but … for me its a no brainer that cooley is the best player
Crushing it!
Watching from a cruise ship in the Pacific, appreciate the summary, seems we missed a fantastic game! 🥲 Keep it up!😃
