The St. Louis Blues lost Saturday in a very 2024-25 way, giving up a goal with 2 seconds left in regulation and losing in overtime. After the game, they called up defenseman Hunter Skinner and sent Logan Mailloux to AHL Springfield.

I agree the goal should have come back – even forgetting about actual contact, he was straddling Hofer's stick, restricting his ability to move – but the Blues lost that game because they lost the 2nd period. They won the 1st, they won the 3rd, they got pantsed in the 2nd.
