  1. What a fun time to be 12 years old and a huge Sabres fan. I remember following the stats in The Buffalo News and was amazed we had two 100 point plus players

  2. TWO Hall of Fame centers, the leagues leading goal scorer(tied), Andreychuk(HOF) at wing, an Olympic Legend on D, a FULL house in the AUD, it must seem like an alternate reality to any young Sabres fan out there…if they even exist anymore.

And poor Andy Moog, this might count as cyber-bullying; until you factor in he was a Bruin! 🙂

    Those were the days…

  3. "Okay guys, season is a wash. Keep the fans preoccupied by posting old memories from when this was a respectable organization"

  4. Cable TV didn't come down our road until November 1992. What a glorious time to be 13 years old and able to watch every Sabres game.

  5. That season I lived in Rochester NY, cable TV didn’t have a deal with Sabres so I had to watch games at sports bars or bring my TV to my grandma’s house to watch games because her TV didn’t go above number 32 lol, she lived 43 miles away and I would drive there and lift my heavy TV out of car to enjoy the season.

  6. “Mo-GILNY!” Ted Darling’s excited call of his name on his 1st NHL goal vs. Quebec in ‘89 will always be my favorite! 🚨
